Lauren Opper is the former Director of Publicity at Blackstone Publishing, where she led creative publicity campaigns for a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction titles. Prior to joining the team at Blackstone, she worked in the trade publicity department of W. W. Norton and Company. During her eleven years as a book publicist, Lauren worked with New York Times bestselling and award-winning authors and successfully launched many debut authors. Lauren was named a 2019 Publishers Weekly Star Watch honoree. She is currently at work on her first novel, Let Nothing Astonish You and writing short stories. She is a proud member of Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime.
